My Daughter's Favorite Cake
When my daughter was away at school I'd often bake this cake for her and send it along to help her study for final exams. This was her favorite over all other cakes; hence it's appropriately named! I'm sure it helped her pass her exams too, and her friends used to inquire, “when will your mother send you another cake?”
My Daughter's Favorite Cake is a simple, yet filling and flavorful cake. It contains plump, juicy raisins and a hint of natural vanilla in addition to the butter, flour, and eggs.
Like all our other cakes, this one is moist and will keep for up to a week in the refrigerator if covered in an air-tight container.
